It is easy to simply rattle off all the things I am personally thankful for like my family, friends, health, business, our freedom, and this incredible country we call home. Yes, all that is easy to say and something that I have done almost every Thanksgiving Day gathered around the table since I was a kid, but this year is very different.
There is no doubt that almost everyone will be Thankful to say goodbye to 2020. We've all been affected by tragedy this year in different ways and in different magnitudes. And we all can find things to be thankful for. Sometimes it takes loss, struggle, and even pain to remind us of the little things we take for granted every day. And by choosing to focus on those little positive things, we have a great tool to make it through the dark days. If you're doing well, keep on keeping on but if you're struggling, try reflecting each day on one or two little things you have going for you and be thankful for them.
As we approach this Thanksgiving, I would like to personally thank every one of our customers, manufacturer partners, mentors, and advisors for your belief in our team, our vision, and what we are building to support the lighting and energy industry. There are many spokes in a wheel and when you remove even one, the wheel is not as strong. Together we will make it through these challenging times but I ask that you take some time to truly reflect on what has happened these past few months, and I am confident you will see that this year has been filled with many blessings. Sometimes you just need to experience some challenges to see what is really important and all the blessings that are around, and for this I am Thankful.
Happy Thanksgiving
